Crispy Green Chile Chicken Tacos

About the Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups cooked, shredded chicken

4 oz fat-free cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons shredded colby-jack cheese

1 can diced green chiles

1 jalapeño, chopped

1/4 cup yellow onion, chopped

1/2 cup cilantro, chopped

1/8 teaspoon black pepper

15 yellow corn tortillas

Cooking spray

Preparation

In a medium-sized bowl add in the first 8 ingredients, mix until combined and set aside.

  1. Heat a skillet to medium-high heat, spray to lightly coat tortillas on both sides.

  2. Heat tortillas until soft and pliable, flipping halfway through. Wrap tortillas in foil.

  3. To assemble tacos, place about 2 tablespoons of chicken mixture on one half of a tortilla and fold over, pressing firmly so the tortilla sticks to the filling.

  4. Arrange tacos standing up in the air fryer basket working in batches.

  5. Cook at 390 for 12-15 minutes until desired crispness.
