How does billing work?
Payment is processed at the time of scheduling. Once your service date is confirmed and payment is received, meal planning begins.
For your convenience, you’re welcome to prepay for multiple weeks of service in advance.
Before each session, you’ll receive a full menu by email. We’re happy to make adjustments, substitutions, or changes to suit your preferences.
Please note: Payment is required to save your date(s) and begin menu development.
Groceries are billed separately during your service, based on the original receipts from ingredient purchases.
Do I need to provide kitchen equipment or utensils?
Our chefs are adaptable and can work with your existing kitchen setup. However, if specialized equipment is required for certain dishes, the chef may bring their own tools or discuss alternatives with you.
Do I Need to Be Home While the Chef is Cooking?
Not at all, unless you'd like to be!
Many of our clients choose to go about their day while we handle everything in the kitchen. As long as we have access to your home (via a key, keypad, or someone to let us in), we're happy to prep, cook, and clean while you're out.
How are meals packaged?
Meals are packaged in your kitchen using containers you provide. We recommend glass containers like Pyrex, since they’re versatile and safe for the freezer, fridge, oven, and microwave. Each meal is labeled with the name and best by date. Reheating instructions are provided via email.
How long does a session take?
Each session typically takes 4 to 6 hours, depending on the number of meals and complexity of the menu.
What areas do you serve?
We currently serve San Diego California and surrounding areas. Not sure if you're in range? Reach out and we’ll let you know!
Do you cook in my home?
Yes. All meals are prepared fresh in your kitchen on the day of service for maximum quality and safety.
